I am so sorry to hear about Col. Munday. He was one of our favorite people at the Branch Library on Hunter AAF. When the Library was closed in 1995, the staff moved to Fort Stewart. We saw him one time at the Stewart Library. We loved and admired him. Rest in Peace kind man. We miss you.

Uncle Stan Was A Very Interesteing man. I never had the pleasure of meeting him but spoke on the phone several times with him he always had a story. He looks so much like my Grandfather ( his brother) Gilbert S Munday. I just recently discovered he was still alive while working on my family tree. Far to often in today's society we use the word Hero in an attempt to show gratitude to someone whom we think has accomplished an extraordinary deed. This is because we want to demonstrate our gratitude to them in a meaningful way. Jim is the real thing. He and his generation saved the world and they are truly Heros.
